Wonderfully Made

Who You Are in Christ

I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.
PSALM 139:14 · ESV

Most days, your worth gets decided by a mirror, a scale, a comment section, or a comparison to someone whose life looks better from a distance. It's an exhausting way to live, letting your value get recalculated every time the reflection shifts.

This verse hands the decision to someone else entirely — not to you, not to whoever's watching, but to the One who made you. "Fearfully and wonderfully made" isn't a compliment tossed out casually. It's a claim about intention, that you weren't an accident assembled by chance, but something crafted with care, on purpose.

You don't have to accept that on faith today just because it sounds nice. But it's worth asking the harder question underneath: if your Maker actually gets the final word on your worth, what would happen if you let the mirror's opinion matter a little less?

If you've never questioned who actually gets to decide your worth, that's a question worth taking seriously.

A short video on this is coming soon — for now, read on.
