Before any lesson, the most important thing: God loves you and made a way back to Himself through Jesus. Read this slowly.
You are not an accident. God made you on purpose and loves you more than you have ever been loved. He wants you close, as His own child.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
Each of us has gone our own way and fallen short of the life God intended. The Bible calls it sin, and it puts a real distance between us and a holy God. We cannot fix it by trying harder.
God did not leave us there. Jesus lived the life we could not, died the death we deserved, and rose again — defeating sin and death. The way back is His cross, not our effort.
But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
This gift is not earned, only received — by trusting Jesus and giving Him your life. The moment you do, God makes you new and calls you His own. It is grace, start to finish.
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.
There are no magic words. God hears your heart. If you mean it, pray something like this:
Jesus, I believe You are the Son of God. I believe You died for me and rose again. I am sorry for the wrong I have done, and I turn from it. Thank You for loving me first. Today I give You my life. Be my Lord, my Savior, and my friend. Teach me to follow You. Amen.
