Grace With You

Grace Enough

The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit, brothers. Amen.
PHILIPPIANS 4:23 · ESV

It's a short line, almost like the end of a letter — the kind you might skim past. "The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit." But sit with it a second. This isn't a wish tossed off casually. It's someone who has been writing for chapters about real struggle, real uncertainty, closing with the one thing he actually wants for the people reading it.

Not advice. Not a to-do list. Grace — a kind of favor you didn't earn and can't buy — resting with your spirit, the part of you that nobody else can see.

If you're the kind of person who assumes you'd have to clean yourself up before anything good could reach you, this line pushes back on that. It's addressed to spirits, not résumés. Maybe it's worth asking what it would mean for something like that to actually be with you, today, as you are.

If the idea of unearned favor sounds too good to be true, it might be worth finding out who's actually offering it.

A short video on this is coming soon — for now, read on.
