The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.
Jesus doesn't pretend the world is safe. "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy" — that's Him naming something real, not scaring you for effect. If your life has felt like something keeps taking from it, you're not imagining that.
But then He says two words that change everything: I came. Not stayed away, not watched from a distance — came. Into the mess, into the same world where things get stolen and broken, on purpose, to offer something different.
"Life to the full" doesn't mean a life with no hard days in it. It means a life that isn't just surviving — one with real joy, real purpose, and peace that doesn't depend on everything going right. That's not a promise you have to take on blind hope; it's an invitation to actually test for yourself.
Wondering what it would actually take to start following the One who says He came for exactly this? Meeting Jesus is the honest place to begin.
A short video on this is coming soon — for now, read on.
